HUNTINGDON, Pa. – The Juniata women's tennis team could not complete their match before inclement weather arrived at Raffensperger Tennis Courts. The score was 3-3 before the teams had to postpone the match.
Doubles play competed as Medina Yessenaliyeva and Celia Navarro de Torres won 6-2 in first singles, while Lexi Turayev and Marilyn Ogof fell 6-0 in second doubles. Bailey Gordon and Shveta Kalathur lost 6-3 in third doubles.
Yessenaliyeva won 6-0, 6-2 in first singles, and Navarro bested her opponent 6-3, 6-3 in second singles. In third singles, Turayev fell 6-0, 6-1. Fourth singles, fifth singles, and sixth singles remain unfinished.
The Eagles host York next Sunday, September 17th, at 1:00 pm.
