MEADVILLE, Pa.- The Juniata women's tennis team wrapped up their opening weekend on day two of the Allegheny Invitational on Sunday.
The Eagles competed in two doubles matches and four singles matches overall.
Medina Yessenaliyeva and Celia Navarro de Torres teamed up again, falling 1-6 in doubles play. Marilyn Ogof and Lexi Turayev's doubles match saw them defeated 0-6.
Yessenaliyeva's singles match resulted in a 4-6, 1-6 loss, while Turyev lost 0-6, 2-6. Navarro de Torres dropped her match 1-6, 0-6, and Ogof was defeated 1-6, 1-6.
The Juniata women's tennis team returns this Saturday, September 9th, at 1:00 p.m., as they host DeSales at the Raffensperger Tennis Courts.
