    MARIETTA, Ohio – The Juniata College men’s and women’s soccer teams split the final day of competition at the Marietta College Classic in Marietta, Ohio, with the women pounding Rochester (Mich.) 10-0 to take the consolation match of the women’s tournament. The men’s team allowed three goals in the first half of their consolation match against the host squad from Marietta College, eventually falling to the Pioneers, 5-1.

    MARIETTA, Ohio – The Juniata College men’s and women’s soccer teams opened their 2007 campaigns on the road at the Marietta College Classic in Marietta, Ohio, with both teams dropping close matches in Saturday’s opening games. The women’s team suffered a heartbreaking 1-0 loss to SUNY Brockport, while the men’s squad had a 4-2 defeat at the hands of Hiram College.
