Eagles Compete on Day Two of the Coach P Invite

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – The Juniata men's track and field team traveled to Moravian for day two of the Coach P Invitational.

The Eagles competed in four running events, including the 100-meter, 400-meter, 4x100, and the 3000-meter steeplechase. 

Lincoln Riddle, John Redos, Caleb Massare, and Zion Gomez all competed in the 100-meter dash.

Riddle claimed 25th with a time of 11.61, Redos placed 33rd with a time of 11.78, Massare finished in 37th with a time of 11.88, and Gomez clocked in at 43rd with a time of 12.11.

Redos competed in the 400-meter, finishing in 26th with a time of 53.86.

The team of Gomez, Redos, Massare, and Riddle competed in the 4x100, placing sixth with a time of 44.78.

In the 3000-meter steeplechase, Ellis Kline claimed 11th with a time of 11:37.26.

JC competed in four throwing events including shotput, discus, hammer throw, and javelin.

Brenden Nauman placed 34th, throwing 10.85 meters, while Luke Bittner threw 32.03 meters, landing him in 35th place.

Barrett Walters competed in the discus throw and threw 38.15 meters finishing in 13th, and Bittner placed 35th with a mark of 32.03 meters.

Naumen threw 40.78 meters in the hammer throw, claiming 15th place, while Bittner threw 24.78 meters, placing him in 38th.

Walters placed tenth in the javelin throw with a mark of 48.43 meters, while Redos claimed 39th with a mark of 32.80m.

The Juniata's track and field team travels to Shippensburg next Saturday, April 29.
