TOWSON, Md.- Men's track and field junior thrower Barrett Walters has been named Landmark Conference Athlete of the Week for field events following his performance at this weekend's Jim Taylor Invitational at Susquehanna University.
Walters competed in the podiumed in the javelin throw, finishing in third with a mark of 51.99 meters. He also logged Juniata's second-best hammer throw with a mark of 47.52 meters to finish in fifth place in the event.
The Juniata track and field teams return to competition this Friday and Saturday at the Millersville Metrics.
