Men's Track & Field Selected Fourth in Preseason Poll

TOWSON, Md.- The Juniata men's track and field team was selected fourth in this year's Landmark Conference preseason poll. 

Juniata finished 12 points behind Susquehanna, while Elizabethtown is just four points ahead of the Riverhawks receiving one first place vote. Moraivan sits at the top with 60 points and six first place votes. 
 
Juniata has a young core with four freshman and eight sophomores. Returning standouts for the Eagles are sophmore Evan Ulrich who finished third in the 5,000 meter at last year's Landmark Championships and junior Storm Fridinger who was a member of the third place 4x400 meter relay team at Landmark Championships. Fridinger also placed third in the high jump at last year's championships. Two freshman standouts for the Eagles are Brenden Gardner who will competing in hurdles and Zach Krug who will be competing in throws. 
 
The Eagles open the season December 1st at the River Hawks Opener.
