Men's Tennis Selected Third in Preseason Poll

TOWSON, Md.- The Juniata men's tennis was selected third in 2018 Landmark Conference preseason poll after finishing with an overall record of 9-3 in the 2016-17 season.

Juniata received 48 points placing them behind Goucher (64) and Scranton (56). The Eagles sit ahead of Drew, Elizabethtown, Catholic, Moravian, and Susquehanna.

Juniata returns five of its six starters from last year, including All-Landmark First Team selections Roy Liberman (Montevideo, Uruguay / EIHU) and Matyas Kohout (Prague, Czech Republic / Gymnasium Jizni Mesto). The Eagles will have to fill the void of losing two-time conference Player of the Year Dean Polisena at No. 1 singles and doubles.

The Eagles open up their spring season Saturday, February 17th as they will travel to Salisbury. The match will begin at 4:00PM.
