GETTYSBURG, Pa. – For the first time this season the Juniata College men's tennis team dropped a dual match, falling to Gettysburg College 6-3. The Eagles finish the regular season 16-1, 7-0 in Landmark Conference matches and 5-0 at home.

For the first time this season, Juniata finished doubles play in a 3-0 hole. Senior Justin Wisniewski (Moorestown, N.J. / Moorestown) earned a 6-4, 6-4 win at No. 3 singles to cap off an undefeated regular season in dual match play. Sophomore Logan Moore (Chadds Ford, Pa. / Unionville) also won in straight sets taking the No. 5 singles position 6-0, 6-1. At No. 4 singles senior Elliott Perow (Huntingdon, Pa. / Huntingdon Area) battled through a three set match for the final win for the Eagles.

Freshman Dean Polisena (Adelaide, Australia / Saint Ignatius) forced tiebreaks in both the first and second sets of No. 1 singles, but ultimately fell in straight sets. Juniata will be back in action at home when they host Moravian College in the league semifinals Wednesday, April 23, at 3:30 p.m.
