Juniata is still on defeated on the year boasting a 9-0 record. The Eagles will return to Landmark Conference action tomorrow, Wed. April 2, in a 2:30 p.m. match against Moravian College.

The Eagles swept through doubles play with the No. 2 pair of senior Elliott Perow (Huntingdon, Pa./Huntingdon) and sophomore Mike Lifshitz (Worcester, Mass./Worcester Academy) and the No. 3 pair of senior Justin Wisniewski (Moorestown, N.J./Moorestown) and sophomore Bryan Gregory (Glenn Mills, Pa./Garney Velley) both winning by the score of 8-1. Freshman Dean Polisena (Adelaide, Australia/Saint Ignatius) and sophomore Logan Moore (Chadds Ford, Pa./Unionville) won their fifth consecutive doubles match at the No. 1 position.

Junior Max Weiss (Pittsburgh, Pa. / Fox Chapel Area) earned his first win of the year, taking No. 4 singles 6-1, 6-3.  Junior Sam Brumbaugh (Perkasie, Pa. / Pennridge) fought hard at the No. 5 position forcing 7-6 first set, but fell in the second set 6-2.

The big match of the day came from a gutsy performance by junior Clarence Yeung (Hong Kong, China / St. Joseph College). At the No. 6 position, Yeung dominated the first set 6-0, but faltered in the second set to fall 3-6. In the super tiebreak he fought off three match points to win five in a row and claim the last set 11-9 for the match win.
