2012-13 (Junior): Served as a valuable asset off the bench for coach Greg Curley in 2012-13 … Nearly doubled his career high in points with 143 … also had a career high in rebounds with 143, ppg with 4.8, and steals with 24 … Mellott had his best game of the season against Mount Aloysius (11/17) when he put up a double-double with 12 points and 10 rebounds in addition to one assist and two steals.

 

2011-12 (Sophomore): Played in all 29 games for the Eagles... averaged 2.6 ppg with 3.0 rpg... finished just shy of double figures with nine points against Goucher (1/13), his best scoring effort of the season on 3-of-3 shooting from the field... hauled down a season high eight rebounds against Penn State Altoona (11/18)... went 3-of-4 from the floor against Carnegie Mellon.

 

2010-11 (Freshman): Lucas played in 19 games as a freshmen for head coach Greg Curley...he totaled 15 points for the season...five of his points came in the game versus U.S. Merchant Marine on February 5...tallied five assists at Moravian College on January 15.

 

HIGH SCHOOL: Lucas lettered four years of Varsity basketball at Southern Fulton where he played multiple positions and was named captain as a senior. Southern Fulton was District Champions twice while Lucas played for the team. He was named Public Opinion Player of the Year, named to the Berkely All Tournament Team twice, Most Valuable Player, a two time First Team ICC and Sideling Hill League, Second Team and Third Team All-State.

 

PERSONAL: Lucas was born May 6, 1992. He is the son of Mark and Connie Mellott. His POE is Elementary Education.
