2012-13 (Senior): Started in 29 games and played 723 total minutes … averaged a career high in ppg with 7.2 and had 215 total points … ranked fifth on the Eagles in ppg, second in field goal percentage, third in total rebounds, third in assists, and fourth in rpg … showed versatility in also totaling 16 steals, and nine blocks … Higgins’ nine blocks represented the second most for Juniata in 2012-13 … scored in double digits in seven of the Eagles’ games including a season high of 14 against Susquehanna (2/13) and two twelve point games against Goucher (1/16) and Medaille (2/27) … had his most outstanding of the performance against Albright (3/3) in the ECAC championship game, finishing with a 11 points, 13 rebounds, three assists, and a steal.

 

2011-12 (Junior): Saw the floor in all 29 games for Juniata, making 28 starts... sixth on the team in scoring with 6.9 ppg... second in rebounding with 5.1 per game, 148 total rebounds... logged a season high 13 rebounds against Washington & Jefferson (11/22), and completed his only double-double of the season with 12 points... finished just shy of double-digit rebounds with nine boards against Penn State Altoona (11/18), Goucher (1/13), and Moravian (2/4)... scored in double-digits on 10 occasions... charted a season high 15 points against Lynchburg College (11/19)... shot 5-of-12 from the floor three times over Juniata’s first seven games of the 2011-12 campaign, his best shooting performances of the season... recorded 10 blocks, most among Juniata returnees. 

2010-11 (Sophomore): Higgins saw time in 15 games as a sophomore...averaged 5.5 points per game...totaled 83 points...grabbed 65 rebounds...shot 37.5% from behind the arc...had a career best of 13 points versus Susquehanna University in the last game of the regular season.

2009-10 (Freshman): Played in all 25 games, starting in 21 of them as a freshman... averaged 4.4 points and 3.4 rebounds a game... shot 42-118 from the floor, including 11-33 from beyond the three point arc... led the team in rebounding twice this season, first against Scranton on Jan. 15 with seven, then again at USMMA on Jan. 22 with six... had a career best 10 points against Scranton on Feb. 13 on 4-8 shooting, 2-3 from three-point territory.

HIGH SCHOOL: Scored over 1,000 points as a three year letter winner... averaged 15.6 points per game and 9.1 rebounds per game as a senior... helped lead his team to a District 9 championship as well as an appearance in the PIAA Western Semifinals in 2008-09... selected Second Team All-State, Tri-County Allstar Honorable Mention, District 9 All-Star as a senior as well as a two-time AML All-Star.
