GETTYSBURG, Pa. - The Juniata women's cross country team competed in their third six-kilometer event of the 2022 season in the Aubrey Shenk Invitational on Saturday morning. 

Rebecca Christophel set a new personal record for the 6K, posting a 25:44.9 and averaging 6:54.3 per kilometer to finish 74th out of 173 competitors. Christophel removed 43 seconds from her previous best set at the Lock Haven University Invite in late September. 

The women's cross country team looks ahead to the Landmark Conference Cross Country Championship on Saturday, October 29. Goucher College hosts the event, and the six-kilometer women's race begins at 11:00 am.
