TOWSON, Md. - Women's volleyball opposite hitter Lily Podolan was named Landmark Conference Athlete of the Week for women's volleyball Monday afternoon, following a week that featured three victories for the Eagles. 

Podolan began the week with nine kills and a .692 hitting percentage in Juniata's 3-1 victory over Bloomsburg. Her high attacking efficiency continued in Saturday's match against Susquehanna as she totaled ten kills with a .474 hitting percentage and two block assists in the Eagles' 3-0 victory over the River Hawks. She wrapped up the weekend with six kills and a block assist in a 3-0 win over Drew on Saturday.  

The women's volleyball team hosts fourth matches this week, beginning with a Landmark Conference bout with The Catholic University of America on Wednesday, October 5. The Eagles then play host to The University of Mary Washington, Messiah College, and the Stevens Institute of Technology for the Juniata Invitational on Friday, October 7, and Saturday, October 8.
