Taylor, Foley Named to ECAC Division III Women’s Volleyball All-ECAC Team

DANBURY, Conn.- Juniata women's volleyball team standouts Victoria Taylor (Middletown, Del. / Delaware Military Academy) and Olivia Foley (Coldwater, Mich / Coldwater HS) picked up another accolade as they both were named to the 2021 Division III Women's Volleyball Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Team.  

Foley and Taylor helped Juniata advance to the NCAA Final Four as the team went 32-2, won the program's 1500th match, won their 40th consecutive conference championship and the NCAA Regional at RIT.  

Taylor racked up the accolades this year as she was named an AVCA Second Team All-American, was named to the AVCA All-Region team, was the Landmark Player of the Year while making the LC All-Conference First Team, and made the all-tournament team at the RIT Regional.  

Foley's first season on the floor saw her have one of the more decorated seasons for a first-year player in program history. She joined Taylor as an AVCA Second Team All-American, made the AVCA All-Region team while being selected as the Region 5 Freshman of the Year, was the Landmark Rookie of the Year while also making the all-conference first team, and was named the Most Outstanding Player of the RIT regional. 

ABOUT THE ECAC

The ECAC (Eastern College Athletic Conference) is an eighty-two-year-old organization with well over 200 member schools across all three NCAA Divisions - I, II and III. The ECAC exists to enhance the experience of student-athletes participating in intercollegiate athletics and provides great value for universities and colleges by sponsoring championships, leagues, bowl games, tournaments and other competitions throughout the Northeast. The ECAC's esports platform is growing and now totals more than sixty colleges and universities and is expanding the geographic footprint for the conference nationally. The ECAC is also sponsoring competitions and leagues involving other varsity and club sports that do not fall under the umbrella of the NCAA.
