Foley Sets the Standard, Named Landmark Athlete of the Week

TOWSON, Md.- Juniata women's volleyball standout Olivia Foley (Coldwater, Mich / Coldwater HS) was named Landmark Athlete of the Week after helping the Eagles go 3-0 (all sweeps) at the Wid Guisler Invitational this past weekend.

Foley tallied 117 assists on the weekend for an average of 13.00 per set, to go with her 42 digs, four total blocks, and five kills. Her weekend-high in assists was 46 against Carnegie Mellon, which was three off her season-high.

The Eagles knocked off some strong competition on the weekend as they swept York (Pa.), the current number one team in the MAC Commonwealth. They also swept Wesleyan (Conn.), who is ranked second in the NESCAC - and also regionally ranked. The third team they defeated was Carnegie Mellon, who is currently fourth in the UAA.

Foley is the first Juniata setter to win Landmark Athlete of the Week since Kelly Reynolds '17.

The Eagles will host Goucher this Wednesday in conference play. The game time is 7:00.
