SHIPPENSBURG, Pa.- The Juniata women's track & field team competed in their final regular season meet on Saturday, in preparation for the Landmark Championships on May 8th and 9th.
Nandee Correia (Stroudsburg, Pa. / Stroudsburg) threw in three events on the day. She placed 14th in the Hammer Throw with a distance of 37.33m. In the Discus, she was 24th at 30.19m. Finally, she placed 17th in the Shot Put with a distance of 10.64m.
Rebecca Christophel (Three Springs, Pa. / Southern Huntingdon) represented Juniata in three events on the track. She placed 42nd in the 100 Meters with a time of 13.65 seconds. In the 400 Meters, she was 16th with a time of 1:02.93. Finally, she finished 28th in the 800 Meters with a time of 2:31.57. Emily Vogt (Fairfield, Conn. / Fairfield Warde) represented Juniata in the 3000 Meters, placing 7th with a time of 10:57.38.
