Correia Earns Two Podiums, Vogt Finishes Fourth at Moravian

BETHLEHEM, Pa.- The Juniata women's track & field team traveled to Moravian today for the Coach P Invitational, competing in events throughout the day.

Nandee Correia (Stroudsburg, Pa. / Stroudsburg) led the way for the team with a record-breaking individual performance. She earned herself a podium finish with a third place in the Hammer Throw, while also landing herself in the Juniata record books with her distance of 40.22m being the best in program history. She would also finish third place in the Shot Put, with a distance of 10.52m.

Distance runner Emily Vogt (Fairfield, Conn. / Fairfield Warde) earned a fourth-place overall finish in the 5000 Meters with a time of 18:48.36 and was also the highest placed current DIII athlete competing in the event.

The team will have one final meet before competing in the Landmark Conference Championships on May 7th and 8th, heading to Shippensburg on the 30th for the Paul Kaiser Invitational.
