SELINSGROVE, Pa.- The Juniata women's track and field team opened their season at the Susquehanna Early Season Invitational on Saturday afternoon.
Lydia Hiller (Warfordsburg, Pa. / Southern Fulton Jr./Sr. HS) placed fifteenth in the 60-meter dash and seventeenth in the 200-meter dash where Isabella Bankert (New Oxford, Pa. / New Oxford) placed behind her at twentieth.
Emily Vogt (Fairfield, Conn. / Fairfield Warde HS) placed fourth in the 3000-meter run. Isabella Bankert (New Oxford, Pa. / New Oxford) placed third in the 60-meter hurdles.
In the field, Nandee Correia (Stroudsburg, Pa. / Stroudsburg HS) placed sixth in the twenty-pound weight throw. Alyssa Bickle (Fallen Timber, Pa. / Bellefonte) was placed behind her in eleventh.
Kaylyn Walters (Port Royal, Pa. / Juniata) placed ninth in the triple jump alone with eighteenth in the long jump.
The Eagles will return to Susquehanna on January 15th to compete in their second meet of the year.
