HUNTINGDON, Pa.- Juniata's Kristen Lucas (Hollidaysburg, Pa. / Grier School) has been named Landmark Tennis Player of the Week this week due to her exceptional performance against Mount Aloysius last Friday. 

Lucas helped lead the Eagles to a 9-0 shutout victory over the Mounties. Lucas and her partner Olivia Ackley (Clearville, Pa.) started the day with a dominant 8-3 win against their Mount Aloysius opponents. Lucas then carried the winning momentum into the singles match as Lucas easily secured her win by sweeping her opponent 6-0, 6-0.

The Juniata women's tennis team competes against Lycoming at home this afternoon at 4:00 pm.
