HUNTINGDON, Pa.- The Juniata women's soccer team earned a draw against visiting Elizabethtown, 1-1, Saturday afternoon at Gibbel Stadium.

The Blue Jays broke through in the 13th minute, scoring on a shot from about six yards out off a cross.

She took a touch before playing the ball to Alyssa Bui (Cherry Hill, N.J. / Cherry Hill High School East) who stopped the ball, turned past her defender, and sent a ball down the right wing to Talia Bertrando (Lititz, Pa. / Warwick High School) who sent a low cross across the goal. Grace Gibbs (Arnold, Md. / Broadneck HS)nudged the ball on to Emma Moreland who slotted it home to knot the score at 1-1.

The teams went into the locker room tied at 1-1, with the Blue Jays holding a 3-1 edge in shots.

The second half opened as the Blue Jays managed eight shots to the Eagles five, with Cati Besch (Bellefonte, Pa. / Bellefonte Area HS) being called upon to make four stops to keep the game even.
