HUNTINGDON, Pa.- The Juniata women's soccer team got an OT win over visiting Cabrini, 1-0, when Emma Moreland's (Lebanon, Pa. / Cedar Crest) corner found the head of Fiona McDonald (Langhorne, Pa. / Neshaminy), Saturday afternoon at Gibbel Stadium.
The Eagles had the only shots of the game at the end of the first half, with Alyssa Bui (Cherry Hill, N.J. / Cherry Hill High School East) putting a shot wide in the seventh minute and Daniela Scipioni (Altoona, Pa. / Bishop Guilfoyle Catholic HS) tested the Cavaliers keeper 30 seconds prior to halftime.
The second half saw the teams open up a bit, as there were six shots between the two teams, but neither could find the net, so the game went to OT.
Cabrini got a good look at the Eagle goal in the first overtime, but the header went over the bar.
