Cougars Ground Eagles

PITTSBURGH, Pa.- The Juniata women's soccer team traveled to Chatham University on Tuesday afternoon but was not able to bring a win back to Huntingdon with them as they lost, 3-0, at Graham Field.

Chatham took advantage of a Juniata Eagle foul inside the penalty box and converted the penalty to make it 1-0 early in the first half. The second half of the game saw the Cougars strike twice more, in the 65th and 76th minutes as they cruised the rest of the way.

Talia Bertrando (Lititz, Pa./ Warwick High School) was active for Juniata on the offensive end as she tallied four shots on the night.

Time was split for the Eagle's in the goal with Julia Lane (Altoona, Pa. Altoona Area High School) getting the start, and she had two saves on the night. Brooke Hinkle (Conestoga, Pa./ Penn Manor High School) took her place for the second half of the game and totaled three saves.

The Eagles will return home on Thursday to take on Albright at 7:30 pm.
