TOWSON, Md.- Juniata women's soccer goalkeeper Cati Besch (Bellefonte, Pa./ Bellefonte Area High School) was named the Landmark Defensive Athlete of the Week. She will be the first goalie to receive Landmark Defensive Player of the Week recognition since Kerry Leonard in 2016.

Besch secured her second career shutout in Juniata's win against Oberlin on Sunday afternoon. She was a defensive standout for the Eagles with five saves.

The Eagles return to action today on the road as they play at Chatham this evening at 7:00.
