TOWSON, Md.- Juniata women's lacrosse team midfielder Peyton Goodrich has been named Landmark Conference Athlete of the Week for women's lacrosse following a week where the team picked up a 16-8 win at Hood on Wednesday and a 14-8 victory at Washington and Jefferson on Saturday.
Goodrich collected ten goals, two assists, eight ground balls, ten draw controls, and six caused turnovers on the week. Her third goal in the game against Washington and Jefferson marked her 100th career point. She converted 76.9% of her shots for goals on the week and 90.9% of her shots on goal.
Goodrich joins Chloe Gerhard (Feb. 20) as the second Juniata play to earn the honor this season.
The Eagles play a pair of mid-week games in Virginia during spring break, with a Wednesday trip to Bridgewater (Va.) and a Thursday stop at Southern Virginia. Both games are slated for 4:00 pm.
