Quinn Tabbed to be Next Women's Lacrosse Coach at Juniata

HUNTINGDON, Pa.- Juniata College Athletics is pleased to announce the hiring of Tori Quinn as the next head coach of the women's lacrosse program.

"I couldn't be more excited to welcome Tori Quinn as our Head Women's Lacrosse Coach," said Athletics Director Nikki Ayers. "As a highly decorated student-athlete and successful coach, Tori is bringing a wealth of knowledge and passion for lacrosse to our program. She is going to be a tremendous mentor for our young women, and I look forward to seeing her build upon our program's success and lead us into the future."

Coach Quinn most recently coached at Division I Liberty University where she was the assistant coach and also the offensive coordinator. She helped with all aspects of the team, and during her time coached 16 ASUN All-Conference Team selections including a Freshman of the Year in 2021. The team won a program-best 14 wins in 2019, which was after the team set the record the previous year, winning 13 games. During the 2019 season, the team ranked in the top 10 in the nation in shots per game, shots on goal, caused turnovers, and ground balls per game.

"I would like to extend my sincere gratitude to the entire Juniata College athletic department for providing me with this opportunity," said Quinn. "A special thanks to athletic director Nikki Ayers for her persistence and belief in me for this position. With the previous success of the program, I am looking forward to building on that growth and leading the program to the next level, and becoming a top contender in the Landmark Conference. I am both eager and excited to get on campus and am looking forward to mentoring these young women academically, athletically, and socially."

Prior to Liberty, she was an assistant at her alma mater Canisius College as an assistant and the recruiting coordinator. Her time at Canisius saw the program finish with the most wins (15) and the fewest losses (5). During her tenure, the team won the MAAC twice, was honored with 17 All-Conference players, a Rookie of the Year, a Goalkeeper of the Year, a three-time Midfielder of the Year, and eight single-season records were broken by two players. Overall, as a player and coach, the team won the conference in five of her six years as a player and coach.

Coach Quinn got her Bachelor of Science in Physical Education and Health at Canisius, where she was also an outstanding student-athlete. A three-time Offensive Player of the Year, and a three-time IWLCA Regional All-American, she ranks second all-time in career points at Canisius, is third all-time in both goals and assists, and is fourth all-time in caused turnovers. She also ranks fourth for assists in a single season and points scored in a single season. She was also named the Canisius Female Athlete of the Year as a senior. Prior to college, she also was U19 National Team Member for Canada and won a bronze medal in 2011.

She also obtained an MS in Sport Administration at Canisius and an MA in Human Services Counseling: Executive Leadership at Liberty.
