HUNTINGDON, Pa.- The Juniata softball team had 12 student-athletes named to the National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) for the 2021-22 academic year. 7,527 collegiate student-athletes captured Easton/NFCA All-America Scholar-Athlete honors for the 2021-22 academic year across all divisions.
Those recognized for Juniata were: Cate Baran (Tyrone, Pa. / Tyrone Area), Ruthie Betts (Hawk Run, Pa. / West Branch Area), Isabella Countryman (Mckeesport, Pa. / Serra Catholic), Alex Douglass (West Chester, Pa. / West Chester East), Emily Eutsey (Mount Pleasant, Pa. / Southmoreland), Lauren Fisher (Bellefonte, Pa. / Bald Eagle Area), Abby John (Mount Airy, Md. / South Carroll), Katie Mace (Dornsife, Pa. / Line Mountain), Maya McLeod (San Diego, Calif. / La Jolla Country Day), Katie White (New Milford, Pa. / Blue Ridge), Sarah White (York, Pa. / Central York), and Madison Wrightstone (York Haven, Pa. / Northeastern).
