TOWSON, Md.- The Juniata softball team had three athletes make the Landmark All-Conference team.
First-year outfielder Alex Douglass (West Chester, Pa. / West Chester East) made the all-conference first team, while senior catcher Maya McLeod (San Diego, Calif. / La Jolla Country Day) made the second team. Sophomore pitcher/outfielder Cate Baran (Tyrone, Pa. / Tyrone Area) made the second team as well as a utility player.
Douglass was fifth in the Landmark in batting average in conference play at .407 and was eighth in on-base percentage at .429.
McLeod was 10th in batting average in conference play, eighth in on-base percentage, seventh in stolen bases, second in doubles, fifth in triples, ninth in home runs, and fifth in walks as one of the most productive hitters in the conference.
Baran did a little bit of everything for the Eagles, pitching the sixth most innings in the conference while striking out the ninth most. She also was second in saves in the conference. She also finished second in the conference in stolen bases while breaking the single-season record at Juniata, and tenth in the conference in doubles while hitting .333 in conference play.
