HUNTINGDON, Pa.- The Landmark Conference released its All-Decade Team in softball today. Juniata was represented by former outfielder Sarah Eckard.
Eckard was a two-time First Team selection for the Eagles in 2009 and 2010 and earned Second Team honors in 2008. Eckard posted a career batting average of .377. Her 464 at-bats, 121 runs scored, and 175 total hits are all Juniata career records. She also has the top two season highs in hits with 52 in 2009 and 51 in 2010. Her 39 runs scored in 2010 is tied with teammate Tara Carl (2009). Eckard was named to the Landmark Academic Honor Roll from 2008-2010.
