BETHLEHEM, Pa.- The men's and women's track & field teams traveled to Moravian on Friday for the Greyhound Invitational.

For the men, Zion Gomez (Chesapeake, Va. / Grassfield) placed 21^st in the 100 Meters with a time of 11.94 seconds. He then finished 23^rd in the 200 Meters after clocking in at 24.56 seconds. He then landed right in between in the 400 Meters, finishing 22^nd after registering a time of 58.07 seconds. For the throwing events, Barrett Walters (Mifflintown, Pa. / Juniata (Kutztown)) was 15^th in the Hammer Throw with a distance of 36.99m and placed 4^th in the Javelin Throw, finishing with a best distance of 50.76m. Brenden Nauman (Myerstown, Pa. / ELCO) also competed in the Hammer Throw, placing 18^th with his distance of 34.95m.

The women had two competitors on the day. On the track, Rebecca Christophel (Three Springs, Pa. / Southern Huntingdon) ran in three events. She placed 16^th in the 100 Meters with a time of 13.75 seconds. In the 200 Meters, she finished 24^th with a time of 28.37 seconds. Finally, she earned 7^th place in the 400 Meters with a time of 1:02.55. Nandee Correia (Stroudsburg, Pa. / Stroudsburg) was the sole thrower for the women, throwing in three events on the day. She finished 15^th in the Shot Put with a best distance of 10.63m. She placed 21^st in the Discus Throw with her mark of 29.82m. Finally, she also placed 21^st in the Hammer Throw, her best distance being 36.38m.

Both teams will next compete at the Shippensburg Mid-Week Invitational on Wednesday, April 20^th.
