Eagles Compete at Susquehanna Invitational

SELINSGROVE, Pa.- The Juniata men's track and field team traveled to Susquehanna on Saturday to compete in the Susquehanna Invitational.

Wyatt Ledeboer (Orefield, Pa. / Northwestern Lehigh) finished 33rd in the 60 meters with a time of 7.59 seconds, while also placing 24th in the long jump with a best distance of 5.29 meters. Three other Eagles also ran the 60 Meters, with Andrew Donlan (Altoona, Pa. / Altoona Area) placing 36th with a time of 7.61 seconds, Zion Gomez in 40th at 7.66 seconds, and Ari Tendo in 45th with 7.72 seconds. Donlan would also come 30th in the 200 meters with a time of 24.95 seconds while Gomez placed 49th with a time of 26.16 seconds.  

Evan Thomas (Ebensburg, Pa. / Central Cambria) finished 44th in the 800 meters, clocking in at 2:13.93, while Thomas Cope (Fogelsville, Pa. / Allentown Central Catholic) was 59th with a time of 2:32.95. Thomas came in 24th in the mile run, finishing at 4:53.29. Ellis Kline (Corvallis, Ore. / Corvallis) was the sole Juniata participant in the 3000 meters, finishing 26th with a time of 10:57.31.

The relay team of Donlan, Tendo, Gomez, and Cope finished 5th in the 4 x 200 relay, clocking in at 1:41.33.

In the weight throw, Barrett Walters (Mifflintown, Pa. / Juniata (Kutztown)) placed 21st after throwing 11.57m, while Brenden Nauman (Myerstown, Pa. / ELCO) was 23rd with a distance of 10.95m. 

The team returns to Susquehanna next weekend to compete in the Susquehanna Tune-Up, beginning on Friday, February 18th.
