LANCASTER, Pa. – The men's track and field team traveled to Franklin and Marshall Friday to compete in the 2022 Mini-Dip Invitational.
In the men's weight throw, Barrett Walters (Mifflintown, Pa. / Juniata HS) placed eighth with a mark of 12. 62 meters while Brenden Nauman (Myerstown, Pa. / ELCO) placed 11th with a mark of 11.45 meters. Walters remains at fifth in JC history.
In long jump, Wyatt Ledeboer (Orefield, Pa. / Northwestern Lehigh HS) placed 33rd with a mark of 4.82 meters. In the 60 meter, Andrew Donlan (Altoona, Pa. / Altoona Area HS) placed 19th with a time of 7.59, while Zion Gomez placed 26th finishing with a time of 7.68, and Ari Tendo (Beaconsfield (Quebec) finished 28thwith a time of 7.74.
Evan Thomas (Ebensburg, Pa. / Central Cambria HS) placed 11th in the 5000 meter with a time of 16:38.47, while Ellis Kline (Corvallis, Ore. / Corvallis HS) finished 25th with a time of 18:57.27. Thomas Cope (Fogelsville, Pa. / Allentown Central Catholic) finished in 40th in the 800 meter with a time of 2:33.83.
In the 300 meter, Donlan placed 11th with a time of 39.18, while Cope placed 29th with a time of 45.02. In the 200 meter, Tendo placed 18th finishing with a time of 25.06 as Gomez placed 26th with a time of 26.11.
The men's track and field team travels to Susquehanna on February 12 next.
