SELINSGROVE, Pa.- The Juniata men's track and field team competed in their first meet at the Susquehannah Early Season Invitational on Saturday.
Four Eagles placed in the 60-meter dash. Zion Gomez placed fourteenth, Noah Zolnak (Altoona, Pa. / Altoona Area HS) placed sixteenth, and Ari Tendo (Beaconsfield (Quebec) placed twenlth.
Evan Thomas (Ebensburg, Pa. / Central Cambria) placed ninth in the one-mile race and Thomas Cope (Fogelsville, Pa. / Allentown Central Catholic) placed twenty-fourth.
In the men's 3000 meter run, Max Scott (Chestertown, Md. / The Gunston Day School) placed tenth, Ellis Kline (Corvallis, Ore. / Corvallis HS) placed fifteenth.
In the field, Cameron Lasinsky (Summerhill, Pa. / Central Cambria) placed seventh in long jump with teammate, Wyatt Ledeboer (Orefield, Pa. / Northwestern Lehigh) placing ahead of him at sixth. Lasinsky also placed second in the triple jump.
In the weight throw at 35 pounds, Barrett Walters (Mifflintown, Pa. / Juniata HS) placed sixth at 12.16m.
The men's track and field team will return to Susquehanna on January 15th.
