TOWSON, Md. – The Juniata men's tennis team fell to Goucher 8-1 in a conference match Saturday afternoon at Schroedl Tennis Courts.
The Eagles dropped all of their sets in doubles play. Arsen Tabaldyev and Arthur DeYoung dropped in first doubles 4-8, and Adrián Di Benedetto Vásquez and Basile Gandon fell 1-8 in second doubles. In third doubles, Dillon Murphy and Ross Conway lost 1-8.
The only point for the Eagles came from Tabaldyev in first singles 77-63, 6-3. In second singles, Di Benedetto Vásquez dropped 4-6, 3-6, while Gandon fell 2-6, 1-6 in third singles. DeYoung lost 0-6, 1-6 in fourth singles, Conway dropped 0-6, 1-6 in fifth singles, and Murphy fell 1-6, 1-6 in sixth singles.
The Eagles travel to Susquehanna tomorrow for a 1:00 pm match.
