WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Juniata men's tennis team fell on the road at Catholic 7-2 Monday evening.
The duo of Dillon Murphy and Ezenna Emuka fell 10-8 in second singles, but Martin Munoz and Ross Conway beat their opponents 8-7 in first singles. Utsav Deravariya and Axel Chabbert lost 6-8 in third doubles.
In singles play, Murphy dropped his matchup 0-6, 1-6 in second singles, while Munoz won 6-1, 6-2 in first singles. Conway fell 0-6, 5-7 in third singles, and Deravariya dropped 0-6, 2-6 in fourth singles. In fifth singles, Emuka lost 1-6, 1-6, and Chabbert lost 7-5, 0-6, 5-10 in sixth singles.
The Juniata men's tennis team hosts Susquehanna Wednesday, April 19, at 3:30 pm.
