TOWSON, Md.- Juniata men's tennis standout William Michelson (Old Mystic, Conn. / Stonington) was named Landmark athlete of the Week.
Michelson won in first doubles, 8-2, with Seth Strawser (Richfield, Pa. / East Juniata) before picking up a 6-1, 6-2 victory at first singles at Clarks Summit. The Eagles kicked off their spring season with a 9-0 win over the Defenders.
Juniata will travel to take on Pitt-Greensburg Saturday at 12:30.
