Men's Tennis Falls, 5-1 at Scranton in Landmark Quarterfinals

SCRANTON, Pa.- The Juniata men's tennis team's season came to a close today as they fell, 5-1 at Scranton in the Landmark Conference Quarterfinals.

Ezenna Emuka (Houston, Texas / William B. Travis HS) and Keisuke Maeda (Tokyo, Japan / Nihon University) fell, 8-1 at second doubles, and William Michelson (Old Mystic, Conn. / Stonington) and Jackson Burnell (Bedford, Texas / L.D. Bell HS) fell, 8-2 at first doubles. Anatole Lutun (Fismes, France / HEI Lille) and Abinav Vadivelou picked up Juniata's lone win at third doubles. The pair won, 8-7. 

After doubles, the Royals led the Eagles, 2-1. Singles two, four, and six were the first matches to finish, which decided the final, 5-1. 

Burnell fell, 6-0, 6-0 at second singles, Emuka fell, 6-0, 6-2 at fourth singles, and Kyle Louder (Mifflintown, Pa. / Juniata H.S.) fell, 6-0, 6-1 at sixth singles. Michelson, Vadivelou, and Lutun's matches were unfinished.
