SELINSGROVE, Pa.- The Juniata men's tennis team fell, 7-2 at Susquehanna, Saturday afternoon.
At first doubles, Jackson Burnell (Bedford, Texas / L.D. Bell HS) and William Michelson (Old Mystic, Conn. / Stonington) won a close match, 8-4. Ezenna Emuka (Houston, Texas / William B. Travis HS) and Keisuke Maeda (Tokyo, Japan / Nihon University) fell, 8-1 at second doubles. At third doubles, Anatole Lutun (Fismes, France / HEI Lille) and Abinav Vadivelou won, 8-7 (7-3) by tiebreaker.
After doubles, the Eagles were up 2-1.
Michelson fell, 6-4, 6-2 at first singles, Burnell fell, 6-0, 6-0 at second singles, and Vadivelou fell, 6-0, 6-0 at third singles. Maeda fell, 6-0, 6-0 at fourth singles, Emuka fell, 6-0. 6-0 at fifth singles and Lutun fell, 6-0, 6-1 at sixth singles.
Juniata travels to Scranton tomorrow at 2 PM for their final regular-season match.
