HILTON HEAD, S.C.- The Juniata men's tennis team dropped a match against Allegheny, Wednesday afternoon.
Matyas Kohout (Prague, Czech Republic / Gymnasium Jizni Mesto) and Dan Ansel Lancaster, Pa. / Manheim Township) lost, 6-8 at first doubles. Owen Grafe (Newton, Mass. / Newton North) and Jason Gerber (Commack, N.Y. / Commack High School) were the sole winners for Juniata winning, 8-5 at second doubles. Daichi McAuliffe-Uchida (Wantage, N.J. / High Point Regional HS) and Rory Donaldson (East Yorkshire, England / Beverley Grammar School) lost 8-5 at third doubles.
Kohout lost, 1-6, 4-6 at first singles, Uchida lost, 2-6, 2-6 at second singles, and Grafe lost, 6-7, 7-6, 0-1 at third singles. Ansel lost, 1-6, 1-6 at fourth singles, Gerber lost, 3-6, 2-6 at fifth singles, and Donaldson lost 1-6, 2-6 at sixth singles.
The Eagles return to action tomorrow, March 22 at 9:00AM, they will face Union (N.Y.).
