Juniata Ties Program Record in Single Season Win Total

Altoona, Pa. – Coming off a tough 9-0 loss in their previous game against Scranton, the Juniata men's tennis team rebounded with a sweep of their own. The Eagles' win moved them into a tie for the all-time program record in single season wins and capped off a dominant season on the road.

Junior Justin Wisniewski (Moorestown, N.J./Moorestown) and senior Brice Morey (Enola, Pa./East Pennsboro) led the charge for the Eagles, Wednesday afternoon. In singles play Wisniewski won 6-2, 6-3, and (Enola, Pa. / East Pennsboro) Morey won 6-0, 6-0.

Morey has had an outstanding season for the Eagles in his senior campaign. Between competition in dual matches and tournament play Morey is 17-2 in singles play and 14-5 in doubles play. He has been a driving force behind the Eagles' success.

The Eagles will play their final game of the regular season at home against Catholic at 12 PM on Saturday. Juniata will be celebrating Senior Day and has a chance to set the school record for most wins in a single season.
