WIlliamsport, Pa. – The Juniata College men's tennis team earned their seventh win of the 2012-13 season with a 7-2 win over Lycoming College on Wednesday. The win moves the Eagles within one win of matching their win total from all of last season and marks their third road win of the year.

The Eagles only dropped two matches on the afternoon and showcased their strong skillset yet again. From top to bottom, Juniata played strong, and tough. Junior Elliott Perow (Huntingdon, Pa. / Huntingdon Area) set the pace with a 6-0, 6-3, straight set win in singles play. Senior Tucker Good (Gettysburg, Pa. / Gettysburg Area) finished off another strong match for the Eagles with a 6-1 6-2 win.

It was a complete performance for the Eagles on Wednesday. The depth of the Eagles' roster was on

display as both senior Brice Morey   (Enola, Pa. / East Pennsboro) and freshman Bryan Gregory (Glen Mills, Pa. / Garnet Valley) each earned their eleventh victories of the season.

The Eagles will move on to play McDaniel at 3:00 PM on Friday before returning home for a doubleheader against the US Merchant Marine Academy (USMMA) and York College. The match against USMMA begins at 10:00 AM with the match against York following at 2:00 PM. The Eagles come into the doubleheader having beaten USMMA in their last two meetings. It also represents the first time head coach Jason Cohen will face York College.
