MADISON, N.J. – The Juniata men's tennis team (4-3, 0-1 Landmark) was able to play tough against Drew University, but fell 6-3 on the road.  Drew (3-4, 1-0 Landmark) has never lost in Landmark Conference play.

The Eagles struggled against Drew in singles competition.  Senior Brice Morey (Enola, Pa. / East Pennsboro) and freshman Mike Lifshitz (Worcester, Mass. / Worcester Academy) provided bright spots for Juniata. Morey, in the No. 4 position, earned a 6-2, 6-1 victory. Lifshitz, meanwhile, earned a tough win, battling back after losing the first set to win the last two sets 6-2, and 10-8

Lifshitz and senior Tucker Good (Gettysburg, Pa. / Gettysburg Area) paired to earn a big win in doubles competition, pulling out the 9-7 victory in the No. 3 position.

Juniata will look to bounce back on the road against Lycoming on Monday, March 25 at 4 p.m.
