HUNTINGDON, Pa. –- The Juniata College men's tennis won its third consecutive match with a 5-4 win over Penn State Altoona, Wednesday afternoon on the Raffensperger Tennis Courts.
The win improved Juniata's record to 4-7 overall, while Penn State Altoona fell to 0-3.
Juniata carried two wins out of doubles play, with the tandem of Elliott Perow (Huntingdon, Pa./Huntingdon Area) and Tucker Good (Gettysburg, Pa./Gettysburg Area) posting an 8-1 win at no. 1 doubles, while Justin Wisniewski (Moorestown, N.J./Moorestown) and Brice Morey (Enola, Pa./East Pennsboro) came out of their no. 2 double match with an 8-5 victory.
Wisniewski, Perow, and Morey all posted wins at no. 1 through no. 3 singles to clinch the match.
Juniata will return to the courts on Saturday, March 24, when the Eagles host Moravian College in a Landmark Conference clash. Start time is scheduled for 1:00 p.m.
