BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Juniata College men's and women's tennis returned to the courts for the first time since returning from their spring break trip to Hilton Head, S.C., both dropping Landmark Conference matches to Moravian College.
The men's team fell 7-2 to Moravian, while the women were upended 9-0 by the Greyhounds.
Scott Andrews (Hollidaysburg, Pa./Altoona Area) had a hand in both points logged by the Juniata men. He teamed up with Michael Showers (New Berlin, Pa./Millbrook) for an 8-3 win over Moravian's Craig Bunting and Stefan Toulouse at no. 3 doubles, then notched a 6-1, 6-2 win over Bunting at no. 6 singles.
In the women's match, Katie Healy (Pittsburgh, Pa./Mt. Lebanon) and Megan Phillips (Jefferson Hills, Pa./Thomas Jefferson) came the closest to picking up a win, falling to the Greyhounds' Jami Fein and Kerry McKinley, 8-5.
