HUNTINGDON, Pa. – Junior Jonathan Skoner's (Pittsburgh, Pa./Central Catholic) three-set win at #1 singles proved to be the difference-maker in Juniata College's 5-4 win over Frostburg State, in men's tennis action Wednesday afternoon at the Raffensperger Tennis Courts in Huntingdon.

Skoner posted a 7-5, 3-6, 7-5 win over Frostburg's Greg Shedd for one of Juniata's three singles victories in the match. Greg Rosenberg (Rochester, N.Y./Irondequoit) downed Frostburg's Phil Darden, 6-2, 6-3, at #4 singles, and Juniata's Alex Ji (Ashburn, Va./Stonebridge) had a 6-4, 6-2, victory at #6 singles over Jeff Lesky.

In doubles action, Rosenberg and Vincent Xie (Szechuan, China) won 8-2 over Darden and Ryan Rice at #2 doubles.

Juniata improves to 1-3 overall with the win, in the Eagles' last match until the spring season.
