Men's Golf Finishes in Seventh Place at Landmark Championship

Delaware, Pa. - The Juniata Men's Golf team finished up their second season under head coach Robb Ritchey in seventh place in the Landmark Conference at the Landmark Conference Championships hosted by Drew University at The Shawnee Inn and Golf Resort in Delaware, Pa. 

Harrison Levithan played well in far more favorable conditions shooting 73 and finishing T24 after two days. Levithan started hot pouring in two birdies on the front nine to shoot one under and added a third birdie on the back nine to finish at one over. Levithan finishes his first year as a contributor on and off the course for the Eagles. His first year can be highlighted by his solo win over 82 others at the Penn State Altoona Spring Invitational at Sinking Valley Country Club. Colin Wible carried out another strong showing in his Landmark Championship debut shooting an 80 with two birdies on the day. The long ball hitter finished T29 for the weekend in what was a strong outing for Wible. Wible played in every event in the spring season and became a key piece to the Eagles lineup starting the last 4 events shooting well.  Kamden Clapper made his final collegiate appearance and his fourth at the Landmark Conference Championship carding an 84. Clapper was a four-year starter for the Eagles and be credited with the advancement of the program as it has improved greatly during his time here. Ben Pintof also made his debut at Landmarks shooting a three over 75 on the day to finish T26 in the conference. Pintof caps off a strong first year in which he demonstrated great potential to be a long-term contributor highlighted by his 69 at the E-Town Fall Invitational at Hershey Country Club. Ethan Brown had a great showing shooting 79 for T31 in his second Landmark Championship appearance for the Eagles after going his first year. Brown's Sophomore season can be completed as he played in every A-team event and even took third place at Penn State Altoona Spring Invitational at Sinking Valley Country Club on a rainy day turning in a career-best round. 

Juniata Men's Golf finished shooting 307 on day two good for a 17-shot improvement in far more favorable conditions. The Ritchey-led squad finishes in seventh place in the Landmark Conference improving from the year prior. Seniors Kamden ClapperEric Soccio, and Mason Yeager concluded their time for Juniata after valuable contributions.
