Eagles Complete Final Day of Landmark Champs

PIKESVILLE, Md.- The Landmark Conference Men's Golf Championships concluded on Saturday with the second round of play at Woodholme Country Club. The Eagles managed an improved performance on Day 2, finishing 7th on the day, ultimately placing 8th overall when combining the scores of the two rounds.

Kamden Clapper (Osterburg, Pa. / Chestnut Ridge) finished as the top leaderboard placement for the Eagles after shooting 82 on the day for a combined score of 167. That score had him tied for 20th. Caden Hendrickson (Harrisburg, Pa.) had the best score for the Eagles in the second round, shooting a 78. His combined score of 168 finished just behind Clapper, and he was tied for 23rd on the leaderboard. Connor Krisko (Elizabethtown, Pa.) replicated his score from round one, again shooting a 90 for a combined score of 180, placing him 35th overall. Michael Howard (Sykesville, Md.) finished 36th after shooting a 95 on the day for a combined score of 187. Jake Matchock (Ramey, Pa. / Moshannon Valley) was the final competitor for the Eagles, also shooting a 95 on the day and finishing with a combined score of 197, placing him 39th on the leaderboard.

The team's total score of 702 placed them only four short of seventh place, while Hendrickson was one of only ten golfers to score in the 70s over the two days of play. Congratulations to the team on an excellent 2021-22 season.
