Men's Hoops Travels to Nation's Capital to Face Catholic

HUNTINGDON, PA- Coming off a 61-51 victory over Merchant Marine Academy this past Saturday, the Juniata men's basketball team will head on the road for a weeknight game with Landmark Conference leader Catholic. Game time will be Tuesday night at 7 p.m.

 

Against the Mariners, the Eagles blocked a season-high 10 shots with Kyle Koehler attributing for five of them. He also scored six points, pulled down seven rebounds, and had three steals. Juniata got a big lift from its bench as it scored 28 points to just six for Merchant Marine. JC also had a strong presence in the paint with a 28-6 advantage.

 

The Cardinals lead the all-time series 9-8 and have won the last three meetings. Six games have been decided by seven points or less.

 

Catholic comes in hot with a seven-game winning streak to their credit. The Cardinals knocked off #24 Scranton 71-65 on Saturday to take over first place in the conference.
