HUNTINGDON, Pa. – Juniata College senior forward Brian Cannon (Fallston, Md./Fallston) will be leading the Eagles when they face Susquehanna University in Wednesday's semifinal of the Landmark Conference Men's Basketball Tournament.

Cannon is averaging 18.3 points for the Eagles, and is ranked 99th among NCAA Division III leaders in scoring (Feb. 17 statistics report). He has 457 points this season, placing him ninth among Juniata's single-season scoring leaders. He currently leads Juniata in field goal percentage at .490 (194-396).

Earlier this season, Cannon surpassed both the 1,000-point and 500-rebound marks, becoming just the fifth player in Juniata College history to accomplish that feat. He heads into the Landmark Conference tournament with 1,327 career points, fifth among Juniata career scoring leaders, and 547 career rebounds.

Juniata finished its regular season with a 16-9 overall record, 9-5 in the Landmark Conference, and heads into the tournament as the no. 4 seed. The Eagles will face the top-seeded Susquehanna Crusaders on Wednesday, Feb. 27, at 7:00 p.m. in Houts Gymnasium in Selinsgrove, Pa.

The Eagles, led by seventh-year head coach Greg Curley, will be making their first back-to-back post-season appearances since the 1987-88 and 1988-89 seasons. Juniata reached the championship game of last season's Commonwealth Conference Men's Basketball Tournament, falling to Widener University 63-60.
