BROCKPORT, N.Y.- Seven Juniata field hockey student-athletes have been recognized as National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) Division III Scholars of Distinction.
The Scholars of Distinction program recognizes student-athletes who have achieved a cumulative grade-point average of 3.9 or higher through the first semester of the 2020-21 academic year.
Lillian Case (Reading, Pa. / Wilson HS), Brooke Franke (Shermans Dale, Pa. / West Perry HS), Isabel Kruse (Huntingdon, Pa. / Huntingdon Area HS), Tess Ledeboer (Orefield, Pa. / Northwestern Lehigh HS), Sierra Rossman (New Market, Md. / Linganore HS), Kalee Rothermel (Winfield, Pa. / Selinsgrove HS) and Kaylyn Walters (Port Royal, Pa. / Juniata HS) were all named NFHCA DIII Scholars of Distinction.
The NFHCA has already announced the 2021 NFHCA Division III National Academic Squad — the NFHCA National Academic Team awards will be announced on February 21 and the National Scholar-Athlete on February 23.
