HUNTINGDON, Pa.- The Juniata field hockey team returned home Wednesday night to host the Susquehanna River Hawks, resulting in a 3-0 loss for the Eagles. 

The Juniata Eagles defense kept the score 0-0 until the second quarter when the River Hawks put two in the back of the cage in just under four minutes.

They pushed another in toward the end of the fourth quarter to complete the scoring.

Nicole Piccioni (Richfield, Pa. / Midd-West) finished the night with seven saves, giving her 92 on the season. 

The field hockey team will play at Knox Stadium again this Saturday, October 16th, against Moravian, which will also be their Suicide Prevention Awareness Game.
